"We couldn't verify your account" error message

You may see the "We couldn't verify your account" error message in several cases:

  • If the snippet is not added to your bio on social media. In such a case, try to add the snippet first.

  • If the snippet was added and the verification window still returns the "We couldn't verify your account" error, then you should contact a human agent and ask for manual verification of your content ownership.

I added a snippet in my bio, waited for several minutes, and I'm still not verified. What can I do?

  • The auto verification can sometimes not work since, for example, Instagram might block our bots. That is why adding the snippet to the bio may not work in rare cases.

  • Try adding the snippet to your other social media accounts and verify, or ask our support team to manually check the snippet.
