🔒 FAQ about leak removal

Why can I still see my leaks on the web after leak removal?

  • The reason you may still see your leaks on the web after their removal is that Google delisting and removal could take 24-48 hours to take effect.

  • Please note that the "scans completed" status in the Dashboard on Bruqi's website means we have found these leaks that are not removed yet, but are queued for removal.

  • You may see cleaner results in a few days up to a week while you’re subscribed to the service.

  • New leaks may appear during or after the last scan done. They will be removed during the next scan/removal. However, you can also upgrade your subscription to increase the frequency of scans and removals and get new leaks taken down much faster.

  • Alternatively, it can also be due to caching (saving of sites). Either the results are saved on your device or on Google.

    • Try clearing your cache and searching again. If leaks still appear in search results, then wait for 24 hours. If, after 24 hours, you can still see the leaks in search results, reach out to a human agent for support so that we can investigate further.

Why do I keep seeing my leaks on the web after each leak removal?

  • The reason you keep seeing my leaks on the web after each leak removal may be that your plan (subscription) doesn't fit how often your content is leaked.

    • Example 1. You're a big creator with a huge audience and lots of content posted very often, so for Bruqi to remove all your leaks frequently through various platforms and tools, you may consider switching to the "Top 1%" subscription, which provides:

      • Hourly scans and removals (which suits a big content-maker the best).

      • Unlimited removals on many platforms, such as Google, 1.7 M+ Websites, Bing, all social media, and Impersonators +.

    • Example 2. If you're a content-maker with less auditory and content posted daily or even weekly, your best choice would likely be the "Creator Pro" plan (with daily scans and removals) or the "Side Hustle" plan (with weekly scans and removals).

  • The best way for a creator to check if this is the case is by looking at your Health Score in the "Dashboard" section on the Bruqi website's left sidebar:

    • 🔴🟡 If your Health Score is red or yellow, it means that you should consider upgrading your plan to get more frequent leak scans and removals.

    • 🟢 If your Health Score is green with a lower score (80-90), you're good, but you can still optionally upgrade to be even more protected.

  • You need the plan with higher scan and removal frequency if your content is leaked too often, for example, for the weekly scans of the Side Hustle plan to keep up.

  • You can check all the available subscription pricing on the Bruqi website.

  • Additionally, a creator can see if the link was published before the last scan Bruqi ran. E.g. Google images show when the content was posted. If that is the case, then you can self-report the link.

Why was content (interview/publication/promotion, etc.) with me without any leaks removed?

  • Bruqi does not remove content that isn’t related to leaks, such as interviews, PR, or promotional material. However, sometimes websites hosting this content may use images that weren’t properly licensed, which can lead to removal.

  • To prevent this, you can use the Safelist feature to whitelist trusted websites, ensuring they won’t be taken down.

  • If your content was removed and wasn’t added to the Safelist beforehand, you can request a redaction by reaching out to a human agent. This will help restore the link or webpage on Google and other platforms.

Why are the scan searches pulling up other model content besides my own?

1. When our scan detects other models' content instead or besides yours, it’s usually due to how Google displays images in search results. Each image has two separate links:

  • One for the image itself ("img").

  • And another for the source website.

Some leak sites take advantage of this by using the "img" link from one model while linking it to a different model's page to drive more traffic to their site. We've identified this issue and are actively working to remove those misleading links so your leaks don’t show up in Google Images.

2. Additionally, your content might appear in the recommended section (or “featured,” or “associated”) next to other content, which is still a form of infringement. We're addressing that as well.

3. In very rare cases, the system might have made an error. If you suspect this, double-check the names you’ve added under "Stage names". If a name is too generic (i.e., also used by other creators), remove it.

When can I see the results after the leak removal?

As a general guide, you should start seeing improvement results in leak searches within 24 hours after the leaks were removed. Here are some examples of platforms, and the time it takes for you to see results:

  • Leaks in Google are removed within 24 hours (mostly in 30 minutes).

  • Leaks in Reddit are removed within 2 to 3 days.

  • Leaks in Fapello and similar platforms are removed within 48 hours.

  • Leaks in Telegram are removed in 1 to 3 months.

❗ Make sure to clear your browser and/or app caches to get the most up-to-date status.

Do you provide updates on the leak removal?

  • We do provide updates on leak removals both in the "Dashboard" section as well as send weekly removals updates emails.

  • If you'd like to disable these update emails, here's how you can do it:

    • Click the three dots (...) button next to your name and select the "Account settings" button.

    • Under the "Notifications" section, there is an "E-mail Notifications" section. Turn off the toggle next to it to disable email notifications.

Can you send me a list of all removed and delisted links?

  • Unfortunately, we're unable to send you a list of all removed and delisted links separately.

  • However, you can see the full list of scans and removals on your Dashboard under the Leaks Found section.

Can you force a scan to start?

  • We are unable to force scan starts as these run based on your current plan with the associated scan and removal frequency.

  • If you've just subscribed to Bruqi, please allow a few days for any stolen content hidden deep in leak sites to be taken down. As existing leaks are removed, more leaks might appear until they’re fully addressed, at which point only new leaks will need removal.

  • If, after a month of subscription, your leaked content is still visible on Google, it could mean your content is surfacing too frequently for your plan’s scan frequency to handle. In such cases, you may want to upgrade your plan.

Can I download the entire leak list, e.g., as a CSV file?

  • We currently do not offer a feature to download the entire list of stolen content (leaks) because visiting those links could expose you to viruses or malware.

  • However, you can see the full list of scans and removals on your Dashboard under the Leaks Found section.

Can you remove OnlyFans copycats (catfishes, impersonators, scammers)?

  • Yes, we can help in removing content from copycats, catfishes, impersonators, and scammers who steal from OnlyFans creators.

  • If someone takes your OnlyFans content and reposts it on platforms like Fansly or others without your permission, we can send DMCA takedown notices to have that content removed.

What’s the difference between “delisting” and “removing at source”?

  • "Delisting" refers to removing a link from search engine results (Google, Bing), making it harder for users to find the infringing content organically.

  • "Removing at source" involves directly sending a DMCA takedown request to the platform or website hosting the unauthorized content, aiming to get the actual content removed.

  • While delisting is generally quicker and more straightforward, removing at source is more comprehensive but can be more challenging due to various factors affecting its success.

What kinds of content leaks can you remove?

  • We can delist any content leaks from Google, which will decrease the traffic to the webpages by up to 99.9%. However, we cannot remove everything at the source.

  • Some websites are DMCA-compliant and will remove the content, and some will ignore all repeated requests. That being said, everything that can be removed will be removed at source as well.

Do you offer help in protecting PDF files?

We do not offer help in protecting PDF files, but we do have an extensive knowledge base that might help you with DIY (do it yourself) takedowns.

During leak removals, a few links have legal experts on the case. Why do certain links involve legal experts but others do not?

In trickier cases, our Legal team may need to investigate and find leaks manually. That is why you may see legal experts involved in some cases during leak removals.

I submitted a link for removal, but it's still pending/in review status and not moving. Why is that?

Our legal team carefully manually reviews each request under the "Request removal" tab. It might take a bit longer to get approved than normal leaks. But if it's been more than 48 hours, please request a human agent to take a look at the issue.

Can I choose between removing of Google listing and the source? / We would like to remove the search results of our own marketing accounts

  • We currently do not offer a feature to choose to remove the Google listing or at the source. Moreover, we also do not offer to remove content that you own on one of your added official accounts.

  • This is done to avoid any possibility of removing creators’ official content.

Can I use Bruqi to remove content from SERP websites that use my brand name to steal SEO traffic?

  • We will only remove content if a website is actively infringing on your copyrights as a creator. For example, if a website has posted your images, videos, or streams without your permission.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot remove content solely for using your brand name.

Can you remove leaked content links from Telegram?

  • Removing Telegram leaks is currently available only for the Top 1% Subscription creators.

  • Removing content from Telegram can be challenging, and no company can guarantee full removal.

  • If a creator reports a specific Telegram group, we do our best to take action, though success isn’t always guaranteed. However, we actively remove infringing webpages that link to leaked content on Telegram.

  • If the group is dedicated solely to sharing a creator’s leaks, we have a much better chance of getting it taken down.

  • Feel free to send our support the group's details, and we’ll review them for possible removal.

🧑‍⚖️ FAQ about DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) takedowns

How does a DMCA takedown work?

  • A DMCA takedown is a legal process where copyright owners can request the removal of their copyrighted content from online platforms when it's used without permission.

  • The process involves identifying the infringement, sending a takedown notice to the platform hosting the content, and the platform taking action to remove the content or face potential legal consequences.

  • Bruqi does DMCA Takedown automatically on behalf of the creator.

What can and can't be removed with DMCA Takedowns?

  • DMCA takedowns can be used to remove copyrighted content from platforms and web hosts that respect and adhere to the DMCA.

  • However, some sites, especially those not based in the U.S., may not be DMCA-compliant. In such cases, the content might not be removed from the source, but it can often be delisted from search engine results.

  • Delisting from search engines will decrease traffic to the leaked content by upwards of 99.9%. Delisting is the most important thing to do, as most people find leaks by just searching Google.

How long do DMCA takedowns take?

  • The time for a DMCA takedown can vary. Typically, delisting from Google usually takes a few minutes, but sometimes it can take longer if Google needs to investigate the DMCA notice. You may also try clearing the cache in your browser or use incognito to check updated Google results.

  • However, the actual removal time can differ based on the platform and the volume of requests the service provider is handling.

  • ‍Each online platform or hosting service has its policies and procedures for handling DMCA notices. Some large platforms, like YouTube or Google, have streamlined processes that might lead to quicker responses within a few minutes, while smaller platforms might take longer.

  • In most cases, leaks are removed within 24 hours.

  • Keep in mind some sites are not usually DMCA-compliant and are based in countries where DMCA law doesn't exist (for example, Russia) meaning that no one can remove content from there. Bruqi will remove any leaked content that can be removed.

How do I know if my content is copyrighted?

  • In most jurisdictions, your original content is automatically copyrighted once it's created and fixed in a tangible medium, like being written, recorded, or photographed.

  • You don't need to register it or display a copyright notice for it to be protected, though these steps can provide additional legal advantages.

✨ FAQ about subscription plans' features

Can users with a DIY plan request leak links' removal?

  • Unfortunately, users with the DIY free plan cannot request leak links' removal (that is via the "Request Removal" feature on the Bruqi website).

  • The DIY plan allows you to run free monthly scans to see where your leaks appear, but removal requests are only available on paid plans.

  • 💡 However, as a DIY user, you can manually follow the step-by-step tutorials on removing leaks yourself, provided on the Bruqi website.

  • Otherwise, feel free to subscribe to any of Bruqi's paid plans, and then scans and removals of stolen content will happen fully automatically - without you needing to do anything.

How can I use face detection with my plan?

  • Facial detection/recognition is automatically enabled on all plans.

  • However, with the Creator Pro plan, you open access to the "Impersonator" feature, which removes fake profiles pretending to be you on social media platforms.

Which Plans offer Social Media leak removals

  • If you want to remove leaks from social media like X or forums like Reddit, you'll need a Creator Pro or Top 1% subscription.

  • We do not provide social media leak removals for plans like Side Hustle or DIY.

👥 FAQ about different types of creators

I am retired, and my content is no longer available. Can my leaks still be taken down?

Yes, regardless of your current status as a creator (retired or not) or the availability of your original content, you still retain copyright over your creations, and leaks can be taken down with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

I am a faceless creator - is this a problem when issuing DMCA takedowns?

  • Being a faceless creator does not impact your copyright rights. Regardless of whether you show your face or identity, your original content is protected by copyright as soon as it's created and fixed in a tangible medium.

  • When issuing DMCA takedowns, it's the content's originality and your rights to it that matter, not your visibility.
